Vessel being salvaged may need to be dismantled, recycled, or destroyed and this cost is not covered by membership. The disposal fee is 250 per foot for vessels 38 feet and under. fee increases to 350 and up on larger vessels also depending on with cabins and flybridges.

Some salvaged vessels are repairable and others must be destroyed. The reason some vessels are destroyed is because of the cost to repair and the owner has no insurance. ARC Marine has a donation program for owners to donate larger vessels that can be repaired although not all vessels qualify for this program. The other option is to hire us to dismantle and dispose of a vessel. This can be accomplished readily. 

These fees are assessed by federal and state authorities if there becomes an environmental threat from you vessel. A.R.C. Marine will charge if necessary for products used to prevent environmental damage.
